As part of Twilio’s security recommendations, we need to rotate the Twilio Account Auth Token and the API Key/Secret across all production environments. This is being advised by Twilio to address a security concern and ensure continued service reliability.
Importance of Completing the Activity ASAP:
If the credential rotation is not completed within the recommended timeframe, Twilio may block all voice calls associated with the account as part of their security enforcement. Given the potential impact, we are planning to do this activity today at 3 PM IST for all regions.
Impact during the update:
No service downtime is expected.
However, there may be a temporary impact on phone number purchasing and the diagnostic tool during the credential update process.
