Update - Status: Scheduled Maintenance - US AZ Region: Kubernetes Upgrade & XO-11 Release (Extended Window)

Affected Region: US AZ

As part of this Sunday's XO-11 release, the Kubernetes cluster in the US AZ environment will be upgraded from version 1.32.10 to 1.35.7. This upgrade is required to maintain continued Azure support for the cluster.

To accommodate the upgrade, the existing maintenance window is being extended by up to 3 additional hours. The cluster upgrade will be completed first, followed by the planned XO-11 release.

Maintenance Window: Sunday, from 07:00 AM IST (extended by up to 3 hours)

Expected impact: Unlike routine deployments, service disruptions are anticipated during the cluster upgrade. Services in the US AZ region may be intermittently unavailable while the upgrade is in progress. We recommend planning around this window accordingly.

We are applying an urgent Hotfix on XO 11.27.0 in the DE region at this time. You can still continue using our services as usual. This communication serves as a general note to our customers.

This hotfix is to resolve the issue where WhatsApp interactive buttons were failing to render and responses were capturing the Dialog Task name instead of the configured button payload.

The root cause was an unsupported Kore template format on the WhatsApp channel, which has now been updated to ensure proper button rendering and accurate payload capture (e.g., "yes"/"no").

Behavioral Impact:

First messages from new or returning users (e.g., after 72h timeout) are now recognized by DialogGPT immediately.

Eliminates false fallback prompts on initial conversation turns.

Removes the dependency on having an explicit welcome message to initialize sessions.

Impact Areas:

Engine/Component: DialogGPT (DGPT) Intent Recognition & NLP / FAQ / ML runtime.

Lifecycle: First-message processing, asynchronous session hydration, and start-flow callflows.

Channels: WhatsApp, Genesys, and Webhook integrations.

Impacted Areas:
KeyServer/lib/utils/keyVaultGatewayMapper.js (BYOK). The gateway token fetch and the wrap/unwrap/getKey/getKeyVersions calls now use a CA-trusted HTTPS agent, set by the ca field in config.request.kstore (falls back to default; unchanged if no CA is set). Quality AI: Agent AI now sends conversation start, transfer and end events to Quality AI. Fixes calls not being scored, IVR audio counted as agent speech, and logs missing after an audit.

Agent desktop: Fixes the blank Workbin email, Supervisor View opening the wrong conversation, the missing agent Exit option, and closed chats stuck in the console (DE only).

Agent AI: Fixes NBA tiles missing from analytics and playbooks not detected in voice flows.

Platform: Fixes the fromAgent flag not reaching the SDK, false context-limit warning emails, and reports showing GMT instead of IST. LLM and Key Vault URLs now go through VPN (UAT only).

Campaigns: Contact lists synced through an API can now sync every 5, 10, 15 or 30 seconds, which supports 100K contacts. Voice campaigns get a new Pre-dial Hook for select accounts.

Security: Admins can choose which roles get auto-logged-out, with the warning shown on every page. Adds Azure Key Vault key rotation and encryption for the AAConversation API.

Quality AI: Agent AI now sends conversation start, transfer and end events to Quality AI. Fixes calls not being scored, IVR audio counted as agent speech, and logs missing after an audit.

Agent desktop: Fixes the blank Workbin email, Supervisor View opening the wrong conversation, the missing agent Exit option, and closed chats stuck in the console (DE only).

Agent AI: Fixes NBA tiles missing from analytics and playbooks not detected in voice flows.

Platform: Fixes the fromAgent flag not reaching the SDK, false context-limit warning emails, and reports showing GMT instead of IST. LLM and Key Vault URLs now go through VPN (UAT only).

Root cause: Closed chats weren't being removed from the agent console. They still counted toward the 5-chat limit, so agents got blocked from new chats and couldn't log off.

Code fix: Cleanup of stale cached chats in the conversation queue when a chat ends

We are currently addressing an issue Mashreq's LLM and Azure Key Vault traffic has to go through new VPN-based API gateway endpoints, and some of them use private/self-signed TLS certificates. This change adds a CA certificate for each gateway host, so HTTPS certificates are still checked properly.

Impacted Areas:
KeyServer/lib/utils/keyVaultGatewayMapper.js (BYOK). The gateway token fetch and the wrap/unwrap/getKey/getKeyVersions calls now use a CA-trusted HTTPS agent, set by the ca field in config.request.kstore (falls back to default; unchanged if no CA is set). Applies to Mashreq XO11, UAT first. there will be no downtime due to this deployment.

All regions - Possible intermittent issues with Kore app and OpenAI integrations.
Resolved - OpenAI has mitigated the issue affecting ChatGPT conversations and is monitoring recovery. We do not see any further errors being reported by OpenAI for this issue.
